Summer Kicks Off with Aquathlon

As the temperature rises, the sun begins to shine, and summer officially begins, Tickmill is proud to announce our sponsorship of the Aquathlon "Run, Swim, Run" event at Governors Beach, Cyprus, on June 2, 2019!

The sun sparkled across the water at Governors Beach as the athletes began to tie their laces, zip up their wetsuits and stretch in preparation for the grueling race ahead. With 6 races scheduled in total, the athletes were tasked with a 2.5 KM run, 1 KM swim and then another 2.5KM run before crossing the finishing line.

Adrenalin began to pump through their veins as the first race participants took to the starting line. With a huge range of ages, experience and fitness levels, the race promised to be an exhilarating one to watch.

With such a beautiful setting for a race, Tickmill couldn’t have been prouder to see such a vast range of athletes geared up in Tickmill wetsuits and t-shirts as they pushed their limits, tested their boundaries and excised their exceptional discipline.

We’d like to congratulate all participants at the event, as it was a genuine pleasure to watch such talented and dedicated individuals doing what they loved and do it with such finesse and strength. We’d also like to say thank you to the Kyrenia Nautical Club – Triathlon Academy, without whom, none of these sporting events would have been possible!

We’re so proud to have been a part of encouraging individuals to value the importance of self-improvement, persistence and commitment while being able to empower them to achieve more in their sporting careers.

We’ll continue to support our local athletes and the NOK academy, and look forward to the upcoming international events later in 2019.
