In Ghana’s capital, over two hundred traders gathered at the Tomreik Hotel for the first day of the popular E-Trading and Investment Summit educational series. With FXTM’s Head of Education (Nigeria) Conrad Okongwu as host, the series kicked-off with an all-day seminar on the 4th of August 2018.
During the seminar, Mr Okongwu gave introductions to forex and investment programs, with frequent breaks for question and answer sessions. Attendees had the opportunity to ensure they had a firm grasp on the basics of trading and sharpen up their techniques. The seminar finished with a lucky draw in which four fortunate traders received fantastic free tech prizes.
The three-day workshop followed, where participants could learn more about complex forex topics. During the workshop, E-trading & Investment Summit attendees were taught how to:
- Understand trading terminologies
- Place trades effectively
- Read Japanese Candlesticks
- Implement strategies for risk management
- Appreciate trading psychology
- Get the most out of FXTM Invest
Fully equipped with the FX knowledge they needed to tackle the markets, participants tried out their skills in practical sessions at the end of the summit.
