We are pleased to have had the opportunity to contribute to setting up the first Ronald McDonald House Charities facility in Nicosia, Cyprus, by taking part in the Radisson Blu Larnaca International Marathon fundraiser on 21st November 2021. Helping families in need plays a vital role in the corporate social responsibility actions of XM.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities to ensure that hospitalised children can have their families nearby in free home away from home accommodation is a noble undertaking that XM was ready to contribute to.
On behalf of XM, many of our company staff took part in the 5-km-long corporate team race to express their solidarity with Ronald McDonald Charity House, as well as their drive to help a worthy cause. Thanks to the fundraising event, a soon to build guest house will open its doors to hospitalised children’s families close to Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in the Cypriot capital.
