FBS got award for charity program

We are happy to announce that FBS got an award for the implementation of the Ramadan charity program.

Together, we have gathered $62,978, and it is amazing! This money went to various charity organizations to help people in need. Particularly, we did the road restoration and the villagers’ houses renovation at Kampung Bunisari.

On the completion of two extraordinary projects from FBS, the Government of Indonesia represented by the Head of Cimenyan, Bandung, awarded FBS with two trophies for a remarkable charity campaign that can help thousands of Indonesian people. The occasion coincided with Indonesia Independence Day on August 17, 2017.

1. Restoration of a damaged road

The road was in a very bad condition with soil, clay and rocks all over it. Sometimes it was very difficult to walk, especially in the rainy season. We decided that it would be a good idea to use some of the money raised from charity for road restoration because it will make villagers life much easier, so we ended up restoring 2 kilometers of the road.

2. Houses Reconstruction for the villagers

We found out that there were a few poor villagers who lived in the broken houses. They can’t afford to build a house that would meet theminimum basic conditions. These families couldn’t hope for a healthy living in such shabby houses. Initially, we selected 4 villagers in 4 different villages to rebuild their bamboo houses.

Apart from these two awards, the Government of Indonesia will honor FBS with yet another sign of recognition in the form of an inscription stone placed on the road restored by the company.
