FXTM’s Head of Education in Nigeria, Conrad Okongwu, visited Dar es Saleem, Tanzania, for a seminar and workshop as part of his hugely successful E-Trading & Investment Summit series. These events are designed for traders wishing to consolidate their existing understanding of trading and the forex market, whilst also gaining new tips and insights.
The summit began with an engaging seminar on 2 February. Eager traders gathered at the Mayfair Hotel for a day of interactive learning and networking opportunities. Over the course of the event, participants learnt:
- How to get started as a forex trader
- All about FXTM’s products and services
- The many benefits of FXTM Invest, our innovative copy trading programme.
There was a great atmosphere and a fantastic turnout of 168 excited participants. The day ended with a lucky draw, where 3 of our guests received an Apple iPad, an Android phone and a Smart phone respectively.
A three-day workshop followed from 5-7 February at the luxurious GM Elegance Hotel, where attendees were able to expand their understanding of key forex topics, including:
- Trading terminology
- Trading platforms
- Japanese Candlesticks
- Risk management
- Support and resistance levels, and much more!
The workshop ended with a dynamic practical session, which provided traders with the chance to test out their new strategies and techniques with our expert on hand to help!
